Controller CFO (Must Have Home Improvement Experience)

Company: Premier Home Improvements a family owned and operated provider of hurricane impact windows, doors, and roofing products to Homeowners.

Position: Controller CFO

Oversee our financial operations and work directly with the CEO. This role manages a small team (2 direct reports) and is responsible for all financial reporting, compliance, payroll, and budgeting activities.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
  • Home Improvement Experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage accounting team (2 direct reports)
  • Handle A/P, A/R, payroll, cash flow and insurance compliance
  • Prepare financial statements and month-end reports
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • IRS and tax compliance
  • Analyze financial data and recommend improvements
  • Support management with payroll and financial questions
  • Implement new processes and improve efficiency
  • Inform CEO on all important financial and tax matters

Requirements

  • 10+ years accounting experience and 5+ years in Financial Management (Home Improvement required)
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with multi-location operations
  • Strong payroll, insurance, and job-cost accounting experience
  • Hands-on leadership style and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
